My name is Daria and my love for plants began as far back as I can remember. My journey to becoming a confident plant parent was filled with challenges however. I faced a whirlwind of conflicting advice from the internet, plant labels and well-meaning friends and family. Despite my best efforts, my plants struggled to thrive, leaving me frustrated but determined to find the right solutions.

Through extensive research and practice, reading articles, books, and watching YouTube videos, I began to piece together the fundamentals of plant care. While aspects like water and light seemed relatively straightforward, I was particularly intrigued by the science of soil. I delved into understanding the vital role of soil biota and the various components that contribute to a thriving plant environment.

It was during this journey of discovery that I became aware of the environmental impact of traditional peat-based potting soils. Driven by a desire to find a better solution, I started experimenting with my own soil blends, using coco coir as a base. This experimentation led to the creation of GoJungle, where our mission is to provide sustainable, effective potting mixes for indoor gardeners like you.
