Worm castings

Worm castings, also known as vermicompost or simply worm poop, contain essential plant nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, micronutrients and various beneficial microorganisms. These beneficial bacteria and fungi team up with plant roots to enhance the plant's natural resistance to diseases and pests, while at the same time helping them to absorb more nutrients from the soil. Worm castings serve as an organic fertilizer and are safe for all types of plants. Simply mix it into your fresh potting soil or add a layer on top before watering to re-fertilize the soil in the pot.
