Zeolite is a naturally occurring mineral with a unique, porous and crystalline structure that truly stands out among other soil amendments. Zeolite has the ability to hold onto essential plant nutrients like ammonium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. It gradually releases these nutrients to the plant roots over time, acting as a natural slow-release fertilizer. In addition, zeolite creates air pockets in the soil and retains excess water that is slowly released when the potting mix is about to dry out.

Perlite requires a significant amount of energy to produce. We choose pumice, which is more sustainable and does not rise to the top of the pot.
